What does "psi" mean?

At the most basic level, psi is simply the 23rd letter of the Greek alphabet, as in the Greek word "psyche" for mind/soul.  It was also  proposed by B. P. Wiesner in 1942 to identify paranormal processes and paranormal causation.  "Psi" generally also applies to the survival of death.  The term "psi phenomena" has come to represent many types of activities and experience that many people would consider "psychic".  However, psi is considered to be a neutral term that neither implies that such phenomena are paranormal nor connotes anything about how they occur.  In other words, the concept of "psi" neither proves or disproves 'psychic' phenomena.

What does "PSI" as in "PSI Bootcamp" stand for?

Although I used to call my course "Psychic Bootcamp" and many of my previous students describe it as such, I love both the historical and neutral significance of the term "psi."  As I teach many different types and combinations of mind-expanding exercises and courses, the letters P-S-I are very adaptable: Psychic Skills & Intuition, Professional Senses of Intuition (for business), Paranormal Search & Investigation, to name a few.

I'm not sure I can do this, what if I'm just not psychic?

In my opinion, everyone "is psychic" and has access to their intuition -- it's just that many people have not discovered their best 'psychic' abilities, or they have not exercised and practiced the skill.  Just like learning to play the piano - some people may be 'natural' talents and can play 'by ear,' while other people need to take lessons and practice everyday.  Even then, some people will do better playing "chopsticks" than classical "Chopin."  In this class, you'll learn specific methods and techniques to help you begin to make the most of your natural abilities.

I already do psychic stuff, will I learn anything?

Many people who already have experience in 'psychic stuff' will find that they still can learn much more... from trying other methods and tools, to learning how to exercise their talents, to how to manage their abilities.  And, maybe discover some talents they hadn't previously recognized!

Can I bring my husband, girlfriend, buddy who's not really into this stuff -- I want them to "get it"!

Well, technically the only pre-requisites for the course are an open mind and willingness to participate and welcome what you receive... but in general people who are 'dragged along' often don't really fulfill those criteria.  The energy in the room is felt by all in the class, and it's very helpful for everyone who is with us to be interested and excited to be there!  In my opinion, it's better for the interested person to come and join us, and then "blow away" all those skeptics later (or just let them be)!

Are you going to do readings for the class?

I won't be doing personal readings in the class, but you may!  The purpose of the class is to bring out your talents and abilities, not to showcase mine.  You may be surprised how good you or your classmates may be at doing readings of various kinds... and I know in previous classes, some folks have stayed friends and read for each other.

I really want to "talk to dead people" will I learn how to do that?

Some people want to learn to 'talk to dead people,' some people want to learn to read past experiences, some people want to learn to do health scans, etc.  We will cover all of those things and more... however each of you will have your specific area that is 'easier' or most 'natural' for you, and other areas may not be your 'thing'.  Some people even have a 'delayed reaction' where it seems that their abilities start to kick in *after* the class.  It's best to have an excited, open, willingness to be surprised what your gift(s) might be!

I'm a religious person, and I find this stuff interesting, but not sure if I believe in it -- should I take the class?   Or... I'm not a Spiritual person, do I have to believe in this stuff to take the class?

Again, the best preparation for the course is to come with an open mind and willingness to participate and welcome what you receive.  I personally understand that all of these abilities come from The Universe, also known to many as "Source" or (name of your choice of) God, and known to science as quantum physics.  The most important belief in this instance, is that if you believe you should join us, you should follow your intuition!

Can I take the "Creating with Intentions" class on Sunday night, without attending PSI Bootcamp? -- Or, if I'm in PSI Bootcamp, must I stay for the "Creating with Intentions" class?

Creating with Intentions is the perfect compliment to the PSI Bootcamp, and is a free bonus if you register before Aug. 7, 2015 -- however, you don't have to stay for the workshop if you don't wish to, or if you need to have Sunday evening off.  The good news is that folks who aren't able to be with us for the whole weekend for the PSI Bootcamp can still join in on Sunday night for Creating with Intentions.  It's a stand-alone class and you do not need to have attended Bootcamp.

How old do I have to be to take the class, or can I bring someone under 18?

I prefer that everyone is over 18.  If you'd like an exception, please email me at the link at the top of the page, or phone me.

I can't be there from Saturday - Monday Aug 15-17, can I come late, or leave early?

The PSI Bootcamp class moves quickly and builds incrementally as we progress.  I highly recommend that you stay for the entire 3 day class.  It can be disruptive to the class for people to join in after we have begun, so please plan to be there on Saturday.  However, if you need to leave earlier on Monday, you'll just be missing out on part of the class, and it's more fun if you stick around!

I'm not a hypnotist, does that matter?

Not a bit!  I just happen to be a professional hypnotist, but it's not necessary for this course at all.  Most psychics are not hypnotists, and most hypnotists are not 'psychics' but everyone has intuition and psychic abilities that they can learn to utilize.

Will I be able to do readings for people when I'm done with the class?

Everyone's abilities and interests differ.  Some people will have "opened up" and tuned in and want to read for everyone they know.  Other folks may have a more personal, internal experience of insight and understanding, and not wish to immediately share it with others.  There have been people from past courses who have started a business as a 'psychic' and many who do readings for friends, and some who became 'volunteer psychics' when people asked them questions, they received answers and shared them.  Whatever you want to do with your abilities is a personal choice, and is up to you.

Weird stuff happens with me, but I don't know what to do with it, will this class help me?

Well, if you mean weird stuff like psi phenomenon, then yes, you should be able to learn more about what you're already experiencing and how to exercise it and manage it.  Other kinds of weird stuff might best be talked over with a psychologist!  This workshop is intended for personal self-improvement and entertainment purposes only.  It is not a substitute for any medical or psychological services, and in no way provides any diagnosis, treatment, cure or advice for any condition.
